Designed and piloted a structured literacy intervention for K-3 students at risk of falling behind grade-level reading benchmarks. Partnered with 4 elementary schools to train interventionists, build progress-monitoring tools, and align instruction with district curriculum standards. The program combined small-group tutoring, weekly progress checks, and a lightweight teacher dashboard so interventionists could adjust instruction in real time.
Close the K-3 reading gap for at-risk students within one school year.
18% average increase in reading benchmark scores across 4 pilot schools.
Program adopted district-wide the following year, reaching 1,200+ students.
